The 5601 Ethernet to Serial converter allows you to connect any of your existing serial (RS232, RS485 or RS422) devices to your existing computer network.

You can then choose to use it as a "Virtual serial port" from any computer on the network (including across the web with the correct router settings). Our clients have used this to connect printers to their network, drive IO systems from across the factory, or simply as a convenient way to utilize existing cables.
