Distributed I/O Technman's popular distributed I/O products are well suited to all industrial or home control applications. All modules comply to the robust Opto-22 serial communication standard and are fully optically isolated.   The Control-it 5000 series offer the flexibility and reliability required for complex or noisy environments where dependable performance is important. Different combinations of the Control-it 5000 series can be used to provide an optimal control system for any industrial environment. With the Control-it 5050, analogue inputs and outputs are also possible, allowing much more flexibility and precise control. These modules are well-proven, and have been used in industry for many years for factory control, automation, production lines, packaging, robotics, and fruit counting!
Barcode Solutions The Control-it 5701 handheld data terminal has built-in scanner and large memory, making it ideal for stocktaking, asset or inventory management. Data is retrieved via the USB interface, which is also used to recharge the internal battery. An alternate solution is to use the wrist mounted 4501 Barcode logger module, which can be combined with your existing scanner to create a simple, inexpensive and robust stocktaking approach. The 4501 barcode logger interfaces to a serial port for downloads and recharges through the included external charger.
Industrial Serial Converters Technman provides a wide range of high-performance industrial converters for communication over RS422, RS485 or RS232. Most converters are fully optically isolated. Try our ever-popular inline Control-it 5001, or the DIN-rail mountable Control-it 5251 RS232-485 converters, which detect the baud rate automatically. We also offer addressable units, like the Control-it 5258 (Half-duplex RS485) or Control-it 5259 (Full-duplex RS485 / RS422)
USB / Ethernet converters Run out of serial ports? Add more with our range of useful USB and Ethernet serial port devices. The Control-It 5501 and 5502 provide an extra serial port via USB. The Control-it 5601 and 5602 devices allow you to have a remote serial port connected somewhere on your network.

Control-it

This is a comprehensive and integrated family of electronic controllers enabling distributed control of industrial systems and processes from an IBM PC or mainframe computer.
