How do I choose between the Control-it 5005 or 5006 converter? |

Use the Control-it™ 5005 for point to point communication. In
a multidrop network use the 5005 on nodes that have RTS transmit control.
Where RTS control is not available use the 5006 with automatic transmission
control.
The Control-it™ 5006 is recommended for multidrop networks if
the RTS signal is not controllable. The transmitter is only active while
data is being transmitted. Recommended if Windows based software is used.
