Technman Electronics Ltd warrants that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of delivery. If any such product proves defective during this warranty period, Technman, at its option, either will repair the defective product without charge for parts and labour, or will provide a replacement in exchange for the defective product.

In order to obtain service under this warranty the customer must notify Technman in writing, of the defect as soon as reasonably possible following discovery of such defect and in any event, before expiration of the warranty period. The customer shall be responsible for packaging and shipping the defective product to the service centre designated by Technman, with shipping charges prepaid. Technman will reimburse the customer those shipping charges upon receipt of a suitable invoice.

This warranty shall not apply to any defect, failure or damage caused by

i) improper use or care.
ii) attempts to rectify the defect by personnel other than Technman representatives, or persons engaged by Technman.
iii) modification or integration with other products, without the prior consent of the company and/or where the effect of such modification or integration increases the time or difficulty of servicing the product.

Where the customer is acquiring, or holds itself out as acquiring, any products for the purposes of a business(in terms of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993) the customer agrees not to assert or to attempt to assert any rights or claims against Technman under the provisions of that Act.

The maximum aggregate liability of Technman, whether in contract or in tort or otherwise, to the customer in respect of any product shall not exceed the invoice price to the customer of that product.
